Cherry blossum, anyone?

About Me

I am the only chiropractor in New Jersey who also happens to play and write music with a heavy Jamaican beats influence. Or, at least, I think I am. I'd love to be proved wrong on that one.My practice is in Bloomfield, N.J. I'm right across the street from the high school. Advanced Chiropractic Institute. If you're ever in the area, stop on in and say hello. And, if I could ever be of service, don't hesitate to ask. I practice structural spinal correction chiropractic care and I don't do things like muscle stimulation, ultrasound, laser therapy, massage, and everything else that a physical therapist can do. I also don't have a DRX-9000 or other "space-aged" spinal decompression unit. If we find you require something like that, I can refer you to an excellent physical therapist in town.I am a vegetarian and haven't eaten meat since 1997. When people ask me if I miss meat, I can honestly say that not only don't I miss it, I really don't even remember what meat tastes like. I know what it smells like, but if I'm eating some mock-meat dish, I can't honestly say it doesn't taste like the meat it's supposed to represent.I like to maintain a certain level of fitness. If I don't, I start to stress out like crazy. I like to do a lot of cycling. Swimming too. I used to play roller and ice hockey, but haven't had the motivation to find the time to start again.I am a pretty fanatical tropical fish hobbyist. I was into the hobby from age 6 until 21. Worked in some shops, got into the business a little. But, by the time I graduated Cook College, I had to get rid of my tanks. However, once I moved back to Jersey and was looking for the right practice opportunity, I wound up taking over part of an existing aquarium maintenence business. I got to work on some pretty amazing tanks and for some super clients.Like I mentioned above, I also write and play music. I used to be the guitarist in a band from Wayne, NJ called Wit's End... post hardcore stuff. More recently, I played bass in a three piece out of Towaco, NJ called Watchung. And, my last gig was as the keyboardist for Boss Relief from Boonton. Lately, I'm doing recording sessions of my stuff.Okay, just looking to meet new peeps on here and have a good time. And, like I said before, if you or someone you know is looking for a good chiropractor and want to find out more about what we do, stop on in. I'll do my best to help.
