What am I interested in? Wow, this is a loaded question because so many thing interest me. I would say that my first love is teaching high school. It is the most interesting career. Each day brings something different and exciting. Teaching, for me, is a real joy! I also enjoy spending time with my friends in the recording studio or just being around the creativeness of music. I like to build and create things around my home. I like drawing, painting, arts and crafts, crossword puzzles, logic puzzles, menza, and putting things together creatively. I also create websites, brouchures, flyers, pamphlets, newsletters, etc. Oh, I am and always have been interested in furthering my education. I am working on my doctorate, but I may take a break for a moment...IT'S A LOTTTT OF WORK!!!
At this moment, I can't think of anyone I would like to meet. I have already met some very interesting people. The person I am so thankful for meeting in this life is Rosa Parks. It was a true honor to come face to face and speak with such an historic icon. I have also met and spent time with Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, CeCe Winans, Andre and Sandra Crouch, Donnie McKlurkin, Angie and Debbie Winans, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans and others. I am also blessed to be close friends with Pattie Howard, Kristle Murden, Olivia McKlurkin, and Tata Vega.
All time favorite--Whitney Houston. My favorite music to listen to is gospel. My favorite gospel artists include: CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McKlurkin. I also think this one artist has a fabulous voice, but she never believes me. And, if she keeps doubting me, I am going to have to cut her off as one of my closest friends. (Here that Krissy? I am talking about you.
I like movies, but I don't get the chance to go to the theatre too often; maybe once or twice a year.
I do not watch much television. I actually did not watch any television for approximately 5 years. It wasn't intentional, I just didn't do it. Now, when I find the time, I usually watch TRU TV or the DISNEY channel.
Again, not much time. But, I have enjoyed reading the LEFT BEHIND series, mysteries, self-help, and books on arts and crafts, drawing, cartoons, etc. And of course, my BIBLE; although not nearly enough.
My hero: James Wallace (Paran)!!! If I really had to choose a hero, it would be my godfather. He is the greatest man that has passed through my life. I do not know anyone who can compare to this person. Perfect? No! Almost? Yes!
