Dame Grease Will Serve as "Special Consultant Of Talent" Mr. Grease's Primary Duties will be to assist the 50Mics staff in choosing competitors as well as being Sr. Judge of The 50Mics Tournament. (Both live and online) The final 50MICS TOURNAMENT COMPILATION ALBUM which will have major distribution in stores throughout the United States, all featured Artist will receive royalties from the sales of this album. The artists featured in this album will also have the opportunity to be a part of the 2009 50MICS U.S. Showcase / TOUR Promoting the album
The Concept 0f 50Mics was born as a direct response to the rampant exploitation of the underground artist. Exposure for these artists has become big business. We felt that many talented artists fall between the cracks simply because they are unable to afford many of the various avenues for exposure that exist today. 50Mics was founded to be an inexpensive resource for unsigned talent. In many cases, very creative people tend to have limited resources, and therefore are unable to compete in an over saturated music business. We felt it was time to level the playing field.
