I'm not sure if I can tolerate Gary Busey's teeth

About Me

I miss my Great Dane Boris. 10/20/04-2/16/08

I have a terminal case of wanderlust and fall in love with every city I visit.

I don't believe in hydrogenated oil or high fructose corn syrup...this has caused my grocery bill to skyrocket, but that worries me far less than the poison in the food in regular grocery stores. I am an independent thinker and admire those who are well-spoken, well-read, quirky, and creative. I also like to eat sushi with lots of wasabi, think dark thoughts, and make sarcastic jokes and other random musings. I like low rise hiphugger undies.
I am genuine and wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm a runner, and that is symbolic of more than anyone could ever know. Overall, I'm a good person who doesn't clog up the justice system. Please don't ask me to read your bad poetry. You might not think it's bad, but trust me, it is.
I love The Office, both the original British version and the American adaption. Some aspects of this show are so translateable to my place of employment that it's eery. Yay Jim!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Trent Reznor
Damon Albarn
Marcus Schenkenberg
James Franco

Music:

My tastes are quite diverse--I can't imagine pigeon holing myself. I am into sounds that are well-crafted, intense, loud, snarly, witty, and profound.
I mostly enjoy bluesy/self-loathing rock, political punk, hard-hitting electronic, dark synth pop, and ethereal mumbo jumbo. I also cannot deny that I am fond of new wave and post-punk.
KEXP and Ethel/The System (XM) keep me from wearing the garbage can over my head at work.
In Rainbows rox my sox.

Movies:

MyHeritage : Celebrity Collage - Old photos - Ancestory

Heroes:

Reza Aslan is one of the smartest men alive.

Sticking up for the non-moms

A Tribute to Boris

It has taken me a few weeks to be ready to talk about this.  My beloved Great Dane Boris died on Feb 16, 2008.  At 4:30 am, he let out a howl, waking me up.  I jumped out of bed and got to his side as...
