Apostle Elijah O. Forte began his ministry in 1974, in Washington, DC, under the leadership of Jessie O. Flood. He was reared in a Godly home with a strong up bringing in the church and was taught the word of God by his parents. Apostle Forte received the call of God upon his life to preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ in 1973. In 1974, he answered the call and was ordained and licensed as a minister. For the next several years he traveled and preached in many cites and many different states. He was on radio & TV stations in Maryland, Washington, DC and Wilson, NC. In 1985, God spoke to him to pastor and birth Vision of The End times Ministries, in Washington, DC. He pastured this church until God moved him to North Carolina in 1990; he then turned the church over to another pastor and followed the will of God. In 1992 the birthing of Zion Christian Worship Center Ministries Inc. took place. In 1997, he married Cora Barnes,they are the loving parents of six children and six grandchildren. God has blessed Apostle Forte to birth over 35 churches in Maryland, Washington DC, and North Carolina. He is the founder and President of many community and church building projects such as: Zion Christian Family Life Center; The Voice Of Zion Radio & TV Ministry;Zion Christian Training Centers; Zion Christian School Of Ministry Inc.;Second Chance Empowerment, a community outreach CDC.Apostle Forte has over 35 years of ministry and he is now starting to become involved in international ministry. Apostle Forte believes strongly in a person learning how to develop Godly integrity and Godly character, which is the most important part of a believer’s life. " It's not about feeling good in church and shouting or dancing, but it is about getting an understanding of what God is saying and doing now."
