MadCap Ink Edgar Rice Burroughs, Kenneth Robeson (aka Lester Dent), Gary Brandner (but only for the first two Howling novels), W. Somerset Maugham (I like to say the last name for a long time), Christopher Isherwood, Art Hoppe (okay, so he wrote a column and not books but I used to dig his column), Thorne Smith, Raymond Carver, Cormac McCarthy, Robert Heinlein. I don't know why I haven't listed any girls here.

Heroes:

Freakazoid; the Tick; Benjamin Franklin; the Marx Bros (not Karl); my dad; my brothers. Bertram Wooster. Diana Prince; Jaime Somers; Eric Estrada & child stars who managed to grow up and not become the dregs of society.
