Who is to blame for the person I've become? In the words of Patton Dodd, "I would like to blame Oral Roberts and his eponymous university, I would like to blame Oral's son, Richard. I would like to blame Contemporary Christian Music and the entire evangelical Christian industrial complex..." In addition to these, I blame Jesus, Joseph, Daniel, and Paul and a whole host of selfless followers of Christ. I blame those who I am blessed enough to call my family and those I trust enough to call my friends. I blame the Russians, Balanchine, and Arthur Mitchell. I blame Big Bird and the gang on Sesame Street, Lavar Burton and his literary rainbow, The Trinity Broadcasting Network and their puppeted Saturday morning lineup. I blame the rich, the poor, the middle class, the famous, the selfish, the confused, and the unclassifiable. I blame the media, society, Big Brother, Ellen K Walker, and George W. Bush. And know, just so you don't feel left, out, you probably had something to do with it too.
