About Me

J.D. plays acoustic rock music that's not too serious, but not vacant either.J.D. started playing guitar in high school along with some friends, and wrote songs mostly about fictional dictators and their penguin armies. College brought a lot of bass playing with UConn bands, including The Red Hot Mammas, Brit-pop-esque band The Recovery Process, and fun lovin' rock group Safe Side Suicide. He started performing solo around this time, mostly lugging around a twelve string, and playing originals that were a little bit angsty, and a little bit funny. Some of the first recordings came around around this time and coalesced into "12 Steps to Killing the Past."Following this, he had some good times with The Scarves, and hosting open mic nights at Molten Java in Bethel. He's currently in the process of writing new music, and is going to be playing around Danbury, and Boston.
