Nomb, the breakout new rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina, is making his claim to fame with the explosive new album, OVER 1 MILLION SERVED, which contains plenty of lyrical firepower to heat up the streets.
Nomb started making music at the age of nine after he saved enough money to buy a keyboard. He gained support as his rhyming skills were quickly recognized, and by the age of twelve, had gravitated toward rapping. He quickly blazed the streets of Charlotte on fire with his go gettas compilation and by summers end was performing at the coca cola summer jam. Determined to succeed as an artist, Nomb moved to Los Angeles, California. Grinding in the streets of Los Angeles fueled his creative fire, and he set his sights on earning a living as a rapper. In 2004 Nomb signed to industry powerhouse Geffen/Interscope Records where he completed the recording of Smoke In The City, an album that was labeled as a classic by many label Executives.
Nomb has worked with grammy winning producers such as Scott Storch- (Beyonce,Dr.Dre,50 Cent, etc.), Mark Sparks-(Anthony Hamilton, Salt N Pepa) and other mega-hit producers like DJ Toomp-(T.I. Ludacris, Pastor Troy), Flamethrowers-(Fabolous, Westside Connection, Mario, Missy Elliot), DJ Quik-(2pac, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre), DJ Khalil-(50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, The Game, Xzibit), Doug Mayhem-(Anthony Hamilton, Kurupt), Da Neckbones-(Beanie Sigel, Cam’ron, Fabolous, The Game, Spiderloc), J-Classic-(Bun B, Chamillionare, Nas), Amadeus-(Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Mike Jones), Stereo-(Letoya London), Da Riffs-(G-Unit, Chamillionare, Xzibit), Floss P (2pac, Nas, LL Cool J) as well as up and coming producers such as Lab Ratz-(Spliff Star), Dublin-(Jagged Edge), C.O.S-(Kool G Rap, Phil Da Agony), K.O.-(Lil Flip, Smitty), Low Key and many more. V-12, and his infamous crew BOMBSQUAD OFFICIALS have worked close with many industry veterans which include, Anthony Hamilton, T.I., Jagged Edge, Bo Hagon, Aaron Hall, Phats Bossi, Kokane (DPG), Kurupt (DPG), Sac-Town’s King C-BO and many others. Nomb has also been featured in the XXL Magazine two seperate times as well as multiple write-ups in the hottest southern magazine called "Down Magazine". He has also blazed many joints for DJ’s such as, DJ Whoo Kid (G-Unit), his own DJ, Charlottes own DJ Buttafingaz (Power 98 FM), as well as DJ Incognito (Power 98 FM), DJ Magic, DJ Warrior & DJ Strong (Cali Untouchables), DJ Vice (Power 106 FM), The Aphilliates (DJ Drama, DJ Don Cannon, DJ Sense) Demolition Men, and many other club and radio DJ’s. Influenced by Scarface, Jay-Z, UGK, Eightball & MJG, and Outkast, Nomb has a style all his own which he continues to build on.
