Hmm..where do I start? I love old L.A. punk like the Circle Jerks, X, Black Flag, and the Germs and the U.K. stuff like the Subhumans, Discharge, Exploited. Most punk in general, although that term can be subjective. I also like rockabilly/psychobilly/garage like the Stray Cats, Demented are Go!, Guanabatz, Meteors, the Sonics, the Stooges, the Cramps, Gene Vincent, Cliff Richard, and the White Stripes just to name a few. I love industrial like Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, and Wumpscut. I also like the Faint, Aphex Twin, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Sisters of Mercy, Southern Death Cult, the Cult, Pulp,PJ Harvey and Depeche Mode. I have a major weakness for everything 80's. I love Billy Idol, Berlin, Missing Persons, Duran Duran, etc. I have a pretty diverse record collection that contains way more that I can't even think of right now.
Another subject I can go on and on about. Again I love all 80's movies, i.e. Better Off Dead, Sixteen Candles, One Crazy Summer, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the Breakfast Club, etc. Fight Club still remains one of the best movies I've seen in 5 years. Ed Norton is one of my favorite actors along with Gary Oldman and Matt Dillon. Cult classics are great, like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Over the Edge, Doom Generation, Almost all of the Kevin Smith films, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? is wonderful along with Valley of the Dolls. Decline of the Western Civilization remains my favorite documentary and one of my favorite soundtracks. I own it in every format! I also love horror movies like the Exorcist, Evil Dead, the Shining, etc. Comedies are great too..everything from the obvious gross out humor like Old School to black comedies like John Waters movies. (He is awesome) There is way too many other favorites to list!
All the shows that I watch get cancelled! Six Feet Under being the most recent, which I am very sad about. I also loved Sex and the City and Oz. Damn you HBO! I like a lot of the shows on VHI, like the Surreal Life, Rock of Love, Flavor of Love. I recently got into the Dateline NBC show "To Catch a Predator." along with American Idol thanx to Rob! =) America's Next Top Model is always good for a laugh. I also love Top Chef and Miami Ink. Who can forget the I love the 80's shows?!?! Other than that I watch Buffy reruns on FX or Court TV.
The Lexicon Devil about Darby Crash from the Germs, Valley of the Dolls, Rotten by John Lydon, Anything by Edward Gorey, Anything by Chuck Palahniuk and Irvine Welsh. And the Ass saw the Angel by Nick Cave.
Michael Vick....I hope he gets a cozy 'lil rape stand of his very own in prison. =)
