About Me

I'm usually very quiet until you get to know me well, but once that happens, you'll probably find me to be funny. I try to stay positive and I generally get along with everyone unless they're unpleasant. Yes, I love Jesus because He loved me first, but I hate religion and what it does to people. I'm very musical, athletic, and talented, and not ashamed to admit it because God created me to use those things for the benefit of others. Hardcore music is amazing but I'm not a scene kid. I have an older brother who has come back home after getting his master's degree in linguistics and a younger sister who is at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA where I also have spent two years and have returned to my parents' house, where I am happy and welcome. I love my parents! I'm working at the Peppermill casino as a tile restoration lead. I never thought I'd get a truck, but am now a proud owner (still wanted a nice car, but I needed a truck for work, so I'm determined to make it look sporty to avoid the "country boy" stereotype).

My Interests

Worshipping my creator through guitar and singing, fitness, marrying the girl of my dreams and covering her with my love and affection till the day I die, bringing Heaven to Earth, loving God, letting Him love me, hearing His voice, watching His blessings poured out over me and His children, playing sports (some of my favorites are tennis, volleyball, football, basketball, soccer is pretty cool, I'd like to try golf, skating), video games, improving myself, cooking... ..

Music:

I'll listen to anything skilled and tasteful. I love music in general, but mostly when it is an offering to the Lord. Hardcore in general, worship in general, As I Lay Dying, Chasing Victory, Norma Jean, Switchfoot, Stavesacre, Zao, Extol, Underoath, Eisley, Damien Rice, Coldplay, Sanctus Real, Anthony Skinner, David Crowder, sometimes Jason Upton, Delerious, Hillsongs United, Brian Johnson, Matt Redman, some of the better classical pieces, I LOVE latin acoustic, celtic, some folk music, I won't usually go for modern country, bluegrass is sweet, I've heard some opra that I kinda liked when I was in the mood... ..

Movies:

Pirates of the Carribean, The Rock: Alcatraz Island, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Count of Monte Cristo, Italian Job, Monte Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, Napolian Dynamite, The Matrix (first one only), some of the James Bond movies, Dodgeball, Meet the Parents/Fokers, Zoolander, Elf, Ancorman, Cinderella Man, Gladiator, Meet Joe Black, Boondock Saints... My favorite genres are action and comedy. Don't care too much for horror/slasher movies. ..

Television:

Old Simpsons episodes (I don't remember when they started to suck), Futurama, some of Family Guy, Dave Chapelle, Conan O'brian, King of the Hill, Everybody Loves Raymond, Lost, Faulty Towers, Monte Python's Flying Circus, House, SNL... ..

Books:

The written Word of God, Experiencing the Father's Embrace, Good Morning Holy Spirit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (I liked the book even more than the movie)...not much of a reader though. ..

Heroes:

Jesus and His most faithful and extreme followers, all amazing musicians, everyone who's the best at what they do... ..
