About Me

I'm a tall glass of water with a constant tan that has a variety of interests from outdoor to indoor activites. Love to work out at the UT gym, run at Town Lake or swim laps at Gregory or swimming the length of Hippie Hollow. I stay active and work as a mentor to UT advertising students which keeps me young...or at least fooling myself to think I am younger then I really am. Whatever it is, I appreciate my life and consider myself a happy person grateful to be living the Austin lifestyle with such treasures available to me from Barton Springs to Hippie Hollow, from 6th Street to the Warehouse District, from dining at home in front of the TV to dining at a quaint, tucked away restaurant, or taking in the tons of live music or theatre to taking in such local experiences like Alamo Drafthouse's Mr. Sinus Theatre. I love Austin.

My Interests

I like to get active with swimming, biking or just about any outdoor activity. I enjoy the many trails the area has to offer. I also keep a garden with many veggies...although, I rarely utilize the fruits of my labor. I need help in this area of interest.

I'd like to meet:

I'm most interested in someone that has some of the same interests...but not necessarily. I recognize that opposites DO attract. I tend to be interested in short guys, but that doesn't mean that I'm turned off by tall one's. I like people who keep it real and like those that show to be mentally healthy and challenging. I work out, but don't live to do so. I respect a good body, but am of the age where I see the reality of all that goes in to the maintainence program. I look for someone with the proper balance of good sense and good health that inspires me to be a better person. Someone that I know is telling the truth that I isn't afraid to fall in friendship or fall in love.

Music:

All kinds from pop to adult alternative. I primarely listen to the local Adult Contemporary station, KGSR 107.1, which most closely represents my tastes. I enjoy country at the bar as I occasionally do a little two steppin', but I don't let that define me as I can get out on the dance floor to any ole beat.

Movies:

I like a range from sci-fi to horror to just the plain ole tear jerkers. I like some indies...especially those surprise hits. The Sundance station has a great selection of "Gay" indies around June that have some interesting story lines.

Television:

So much to list that it can make me look really addicted. Just know there are many, but it's the other stations that surprise me like Nip/Tuck, Farscape (now canceled), Queer Eye, Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk.
