The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions and activities. Contemporary, traditional, avant garde, creative and experimental works that include old and new processes, mixed techniques, and challenging personal, emotional or political statements are welcome. Theme: Interactions - People Relating With and To Each Other
The goal of this theme is to visually capture or interpret how people relate to each other: their displays of emotion, facial changes, posturing, touching, and other characteristics associated with the many aspect of interacting with or to another person or groups of people.
Prospectus
Juror: Alison Nordstrom is Curator of Photography at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York. She holds a BA in English Literature, an MLS with museum emphasis, and a PhD in Cultural and Visual Studies with a dissertation on popular photography of the Gilded Age. Nordstrom has curated over 100 exhibitions of photography. She is the author of more than fifty catalogue essays and monographs and of numerous chapters, articles and reviews in academic publications such as Exposure, History of Photography, and Oxford History of Photography.
This will be low key, fine art nudes. Please contact me if interested.
