Sacradis

Sacradis project was started up during 1996 by the founder members Eligor (guitar), Winternius (bass) and Lord Of Fog (drums), with a special appearance by the vocalist Argento and the keyboard player Summus Dux. The band soon switched face to incorporate the new vocalist Giuliano and another keyboarder called Hel. Shortly after Ulfe completed the formation as second guitarist. Another change at the front saw Labes, actually Abysmal Grief component, as new singer. With this line up Sacradis cut the five track 1998 cult E.P “Sacradis Infernalis”. The membership was still far from settled though the never replaced keyboarder Hel exited. Labes followed shortly after and the band inducted Kadath as their fourth successive singer. In 2000, because of some idealistic disagreement, was the time for Ulfe to leave the band. In the same period an eponymous promotional E.P. was recorded. In 2002 Sacradis welcomed back Ulfe into the fold. In early 2003 “Darkness Of Our Souls” registration got started. Born as another E.P, it has been put on sale as a full-length by Masterpiece Company, in agreement with the band, adding some older material. “Darkness Of Our Souls”2004 album marked a new age for the band with very aggressive songs and attitude. In the aftermath the releasing of this album followed a period of ups and down, characterized by tensions between Sacradis members. In this climate , during 2006, Sacradis started recording the new album ( soon available) called “Damnatio Memoriae”. Recorded by Winternius himself in Sacradis own music room, “Damnatio Memoriae” represents another demonstration of courage from the band, in time like this. Sacradis give up satanic lyrics on behalf of more actually tematics, even though they never disown their anticlerical roots. After a troubled “Darkness tour”, during which Sacradis got the honour to play with bands like Enthroned and Mayhem, and after the recording of the above-mentioned “Damnatio Memoriae” album, lasted till end 2007, Kadath left the band, immediately replaced by Ulfe. Just now Sacradis members have finally found cohesion and new strength, and another work is in progress at the moment.
