HaPpA bOii

Its rare and few that someone in life brushes by your existence and leaves a very strong lasting impression; a thought that resonates deep within your soul. I will never forget her. This stranger of a woman. Wise, aged, tempered, warm, and welcoming. I still remember the graying streaks in her long auburn brown hair. I was sitting troubled in thought outside a small café on a beautiful day in Fall. The hustle and bustle of people walking and the cool, crisp air carried scents of roasted coffee, cigarettes and crushed leaves. This woman gracefully approched me and gently placed her hand on my shoulder. I was staring sadly at the ground and as I raised my head and stared into her brown eyes she quietly said the words that still wonderfully haunt me, "You have such an old soul. I very much feel it. And one day you will become someone and you will do something beautiful." Then she was gone, lost amongst the whirling leaves and sea of minds. Recently, I have thought a lot about this woman and her kind, meaningful words. I was walking in comtemplative thought, walking briskly on the sidewalk amonst fallen branches, dead leaves, and once again the heartless wind scratching at my face. The trees are dancing in the gusts, swaying back and forth and I cant help but see her in the trees waving at me. I come to ask myself, "Where am I in my life? Am I someone? Have I made something beautiful?" I live my life as a ghost and a neverending silence of my thoughts echo. Become the very best person I can be. Give love, sacrifice, and compassion unconditionally and without hesitation. Do something beautiful. ~Akio~
