El grupo Elenium nació en 1995 en la ciudad de Vantaa (Finlandia) Desde el comienzo del grupo y en adelante, las influencias han sido también aspiradas de varios géneros musicales fuera de la escena metalera. La idea básica de Elenium siempre ha sido mezclar y combinar el death metal con distintas melodías, y atmósferas variadas. La dinámica es otra palabra clave en la música del grupo, que se encuentra entre lo maravillosamente frágil, y lo muy agresivo. El grupo ha estado haciendo giras activamente por toda Finlandia. Las peticiones hacia Elenium han ido creciendo también en el extranjero pero el grupo tiene aún muchos sitios a los que “conquistar”. No es cuestión de experiencia, ya que todos los miembros del grupo tienen años de experiencia sobre el escenario. Es solo cuestión de tiempo. Respecto a la carrera de grabación del grupo, Elenium ha hecho muchas demos y discos de promoción, así como también han sacado a la venta un MCD (This Side of Paradise – 1998) y dos discos (For Giving – For Getting, 2003, y Caught in a Wheel, 2007). A pesar de los más de 10 años de trayectoria que ya tiene el grupo, los miembros de Elenium siguen siendo jóvenes y hay muchas nuevas trayectorias que pueden tomar.

Elenium was born in 1995 in the city of Vantaa (Finland) From the bands infant state and on, the influences were also sucked from various musical genres outside metal scene. Elenium’s basic idea has always been blending and combining death metal to different melodies and ever changing atmospheres. The dynamics is yet another key word in the group’s music it being everything between beautifully fragile and massively aggressive. The band has actively been doing gigs all around Finland. The demand of Elenium has also been growing abroad but the band has lot of places yet to conquer. This is not the matter of experience as all the band members have years of experience on stage. It’s only a matter of time. As what comes to the band’s recording career, Elenium has made several demo’s and promo’s as well as they have released a MCD (This Side of Paradise -1998) and two Cds (For Giving – For Getting, 2003, and Caught in a Wheel,2007). Despite the over ten-year-path the band has taken, the members of Elenium are still young and there are many new paths yet to be taken.
