travel is my biggest interest. i LOVE to travel to far away lands. but now that I live in a "far away" land, I like to travel to Western countries to get my cheese and mexican food fix! music, movies, photography, reading.

i've really expanded my musical interests since living in India - mostly because I don't get exposed to the music that i like.... must edit that to say that I just got 80GB worth of music from a friend here, so I have lots to listen to and learn about!my favorites are still film school, mogwai, postal service, etc.but lately i've been listening to lots of hindi film music, cheesy 80's music, madonna.
Harold & Maude, Beautiful Girls, Reality Bites, the Pianist, Ma vi en rose, amores perros, lost in translation, dazed & confused, almost famous, rushmore (don't get a lot of good western films here, so i'm stuck watching old favorites)
i used to not watch much tv, but sometimes there is nothing to do in India, so....my favorites at the moment are: Lost, Desperate Housewives, Law & Order: SVU and CSI oh and amazing race, globetreker, and anything on travelling!
Motorcycle diaries, Beyond the Pale, Hooked, Shantaram, Kite Runner, anything set in another country, travel stories, biographies, anything that is sad and makes me cry
the people who have had difficult lives but somehow find the strength to make something of themselves and make a difference.
