Who is Jay Sapp? He is an extremely versatile writer and hip hop artist, hailing from NorthWest Indiana. He sticks to his roots with his witty MidWest raps. He is a unique rapper, hitting on random subjects like, Women, Friends, Weed, Beer, Cornfields, Pens & Pads, Plastic People, & Fate, basically things that happen in life. He has been writing poetry since he was able to write, rhyming is his pastime, & passion. In 1997 he began to convert his poetry into lyrics when he was introduced to a newfound friend, who owned a record store and studio in Michigan City Indiana. At first music was just for fun, and to pass the time while working in the store, then it turned into a passion! He then found himself turning all of his poetry into lyrics of some genre. Jay Sapp is also a member of an exceptional Hip Hop group, "TRYPTAMINE", all who live in the Southern California area now, except for Jay Sapp. Currently Jay Sapp resides in Indianapolis, doing shows all over the state, trying to expand and spread his musical intellect. Jay Sapp writes and records all of his own music; he has been hustling his music for years and has no plan ..ping! While finishing his business degree, he is working on his album, 'The MidWest MadMan'. After obtaining his degree Jay Sapp plans on establishing his own Record Label and turning his Studio into a profitable business.
