Hi.
My name is Rune Dennis Tønnessen and my primary goal is to make a living as a musician.
I've had music and singing as a hobby for many years. All the way back since the beginning.
Have been a member of several bands here in Norway, like President and Slim Cricket.
ZILK and DENNIS is the two names I have used as an artist before I decided to work under my real name.
2008 is the year I will release my first record. I tried that back in 2001 with a song called “Waiting for the Trainâ€, but I had to give that project up because of no promo and no one to back me up. Back then it was a good experience and I learned that the only way to make it is by hard work and more hard work. In 2004 I went back to the studio and recorded a song called "Regnet bare pøser ned". That song was a hit on some radio stations and also on TV. "Regnet bare pøser ned" went to the top ten charts for a couple of weeks but there was no record to sell. But it was the kick of a lifetime.The deal now is to release my first solo project on my own label Zilk Records.
My first cd will be out in the record stores on march 9th 2009.And I hope you all will run to the record store and buy it. :-)Thanks.
