About Me

lets see.... i never know what to put for these kinda things. :-) When i'm not working i like to hang out with friends and have a good time. I'm also a DJ and until recently was living in southern Oregon but now am in Portland (finally!). If you couldn't tell from my picture, i've opted for the keg look instead of the six pack. I love music and movies, can't get enough of either. I love just hangin out with friends and either watchin movies or kickin back a few drinks and spinnin some records. I'm not very athletic but do enjoy football. I like playin pool, darts, games, etc...(especially if i can do it while drinking a beer).

My Interests

like i mentioned i love music, in all it's forms. i'm a pretty laid back easygoing kinda person and enjoy just chillin watchin tv, going to the movies, goin to concerts, hanging out with friends drinking and bbq'n, or whatever... Yes i realize i sound pretty boring but i've already accepted that fact so.... SUCK IT BUDDY! :-P

Music:

i'm mostly into electronic music like progressive trance, house, breakbeats, downtempo, trip hop, etc.... Some favorites are Slacker (alltime favorite producer/remixer), Sasha and Digweed, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Hyper, James Lavelle, Luke Chable, Matthew Dekay, BT, Deep Dish, Uberzone, Dave Seaman, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Orbital, Faithless, Leftfield, Infusion, Gus Gus, the Orb, Prodigy, Underworld, Royksopp, Theivery Corp, and countless others. I also like jazz, blues, alt rock, etc... some of my current and favorite groups/artists i'm into are Depeche Mode (still the best band in the world), Bjork, Portishead, Keane, Snow Patrol, Death Cab For Cutie, Goldfrapp, John Lee Hooker, Nina Simone, Sneaker Pimps, Frou Frou, Coldplay, Radiohead, Dido, Massive Attack, Kenna, Hooverphonic, EBTG, the Bravery, Tricky, Olive, Beth Orton, Simon & Garfunkel, Ian Brown, Postal Service, Rage Against the Machine, NIN, Ministry, Esthero, Beck, the Cure, New Order, Morcheeba, the Smiths, Morrisey, Bob Marley, Lush, the Sundays, INXS, Miles Davis, and the list goes on and on..... oh yeah, and i absolutely love the 80's too. :-)

Movies:

love all kinds. seriously way too many favorites to list. (i used to work at a video store if that gives you any idea).

Television:

Family Guy, the Daily Show, South Park, Colbert Report, Reno 911, Dave Chappelle show (obviously i watch a lot of Comedy Central), Scrubs, The Office, Best Week Ever, I Love the 80's, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and the Simpsons to name a few. I also love watchin stand up from Dane Cook, Lewis Black, and others.

Books:

i love to read. a couple of my favorite current authors are Dean Koontz and Tom Clancy. also love to read the classics too... Brave New World, To Kill A Mockingbird, etc ....

Heroes:

i don't know about "heroes" but a couple people that have been big influences in my life are two of my best friends Ian and Julio. much love to them both.
