I have a huge respect for Ray Harreyhausen, Willis O'brien, The Brothers Quay, and the other pioneers of stop motion in film. I also like alot of non-sense comedies, like the old Zucker Brothers films... Kentucky Fried Movie, Airplane, Blazing Saddles. Even like the occasional chick flik, if the characters are well written and if the point of the movie isn't to show how much men suck.
