All kinds of books, Sci-Fi, Philosophical, Mystery....
I've been reading the Ender series lately. Just got done with Ender's Game, Speaker of the Dead, and i'm currently on Xenocide.
Definitely an interesting series... Not one I'd have enjoyed if I'd read it a few years ago.

What's wierd though is, now when I read a book, I can very much empathize the emotions of the characters, and it truly draws me into the book. I find myself getting angry at characters, or a little frustrated, or sad.... Interesting stuff. But it does also depend on the quality of book.
