About Me

If there is light in the soul,
There will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person,
There will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
-A Chinese Proverb
If you want to add/talk to me on here, send me a message first, as there are still a lot of fake profiles.I would describe myself as a gentle person with the fire and focus in me to change what's ready to be changed, and the courage to forget what I once was to become something greater.
My name's Aaron and I like to do things better than you
haha, just kidding. But I do, in fact, like to do everything the best it can posibly be done. I consider myself a pretty awesome person(self-love): I'm quite athletic/fitness oriented, yet quite intellectual and quite musically oriented as well as nutrition and food oriented- I cook all of my food. I'm driven and passionate to study many areas of life, especially those involving healing and discovery(read on for details). I am basically obsessed with improving every relevant aspect of my life, and helping others to go there as much as possible. But I try not to force it.
I'm attending classes locally and my plans after getting two years of credit are to go to Seattle or Portaland and attend Bastyr University, or National School of Naturopathic Medicine, either of which offer probably the best in education for Naturopathic Medicine in North America.
Through chronic illness(a blessing, in fact) I have learned a massive amount of new things in the world of health and really every area of living life. In health specifically, I've learned to no longer trust western medicine and I've also been opened up to more 'elite fitness' options which I've come to like a whole lot. One amazing thing I've just recently come to discover through a new friend is knowledge of past life experiences and infinite possibilities. You'll have to talk to me about that one.
My religion on here says "Christian-other" because I couldn't type it for myself, but if I could it would read: "all encompassing spirituality that agrees with many concepts of many religions and transcends the mortal boundary and limitation religious disputes often bring about."
I consider myself to have a relatively large amount of depth, some of you may 'get me', others may not. But you must know that there is much more to me than the surface shows.
My personality...
Am I a dry, humorless son of a bitch?
sure sounds like it doesn't it.
:)
No, I can be a funny guy, you just have to get me to open up first. I challenge you.
Socially speaking, I am pretty introverted unless I get to know you pretty well. After that, if conversation strikes something I have expertise in, I can talk up a storm as much as anyone.
As for hobbies and things I do... You could say that I want to do everything this world has to offer, some things being placed above others according to the level my focus is needed in. I put a pretty good list down to the left. Probably the number one is in healing medicine practices and helping to make the world a better place.
I am quite drawn to the old times: the Greek, Roman, Celtic, and Medieval ages are of great intrigue to me. This includes all of their warfare and way of life, including diet. The foundation of strong warriors of old surely was at least in part held in their superior diet. My intrigue in these old ways influences who I am and how I feel about a lot of things..such as modern industry.
I also liked the world a lot better when man could command things on a personal level, for example, in a military perspective: by training extensively one could avoid death by blocking a javelin with a shield as opposed to..a nuclear bomb, which no one can avid on a personal level. So that means I really liked the way of things before the invention of gunpowder.

My Interests

Here are my interests(they really aren't in much of a ranked order)-

-Holistic Health: I hope to learn as much as possible in various areas, a continuous project I've been working on for a while now. This encompasses everything from food, other medicinal substances, energetic medicine to inner peace, 'relationship mastery', and a lot more.

-Cooking wholesome old style food/brewing drinks and enjoying. I enjoy the idea of owning a restaurant and farm producing top quality nourishing traditional foods.

-Drumming(drumset, progressive and power metal)

-Soccer, frisbee, other random sports

-Fishing, would love to go offshore.

-I'm open to meeting new people, particularly those with something in common, or open to the many things I have to talk about.

-Sailing, would love to learn.

-Hunting, making good use of the animal

-Archery could be cool. Fencing seems cool too.

-Studying ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Anglo-Saxon, and Medieval mythology, history, and warfare.

-I'd like to learn how to blacksmith sometime.

-Psychology and relationships- been studying a good bit on this in a way that emphasizes inner peace and thorough understanding and connection between people..in any interaction.

-Also Interested in gardening and maybe some landscaping. And a mild interest in architecture.

-I'm interested in growing any kind of "useful" plant such as herbs, fruits, vegetables, and carnivorous plants.

-Martial arts, I'm interested in all forms, have yet to embark on learning this much yet.

-Snowboarding would be cool, have yet to experience.

-I'm interested in going to the amazon rainforest or any other rainforest and spearing fish/checkin out the wildlife and chronicling my adventure...just like Amazon Trail.

-The Aegean Sea/Greece also are really interesting to me.
-I'd like to travel pretty much anywhere in the world that is new and has fishing or one of my interests to take part in. Recently I have discovered that even the country called Jordan has quite many intriguing things within.

-I play just about every good video game in existence(PC especially). I spend a lot of time doing this with my being sick and not feeling like doin much else a lot of the time. Though yes, it does get old, it also has benefits and I do learn quite a bit from them. I don't like being considered a 'nerd' in that respect...unless you too are a nerd, then it's ok.

-Strength training, a little something known as functional fitness. Recently I have gotten into kettlebells and a bit of crossfit.

-When it comes to cars, I like roadsters such as the Honda S2000 and BMW Z4. Racing would cool sometime, track or street. Nice and exhilirating. I might just have to work on developing some sustainable power before then though.

I'd like to meet:

Simply put: anyone who enjoys life/fun, yet wants to make a difference in the world.

Honestly, I really would like to meet 'truth seeking' (as a certain Stephane puts it) bisexual women.

But I am open to meeting anyone who is open to change and growing and really, anyone who has anything to talk about with me.
Or anyone who's open to trying some excellent traditional food.

It'd be great to meet a(or various) mentor in different fields I'm interested in- all areas of holistic medicine, maybe an established professional chef, experienced sailor, martial arts master, blacksmith, musician, fisherman, functional fitness master like Pavel(though I know there are many). I think it'd be great to be an apprentice in all of these areas, since I know there is always someone who will know more than me. I'm very interested in self expansion and seeking greatness and enjoyment out of all of these and other varying arts.

If you want to know what kind of relationship I'm looking for: a deeply connected and loving one, but everyone wants that, they just approach differently. My approach: straightforward and open.

Music:

1st Tier
Tool, Opeth, Blind Guardian, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nevermore,Sonata Arctica, Ayreon, Iced Earth, Demons and Wizards, Beyond Twilight, Liquid Tension Experiment, Meshuggah, Edge of Sanity.

2nd Tier(in a slightly lesser class than my favorites)
Megadeth,Ziemba Project/Mark Moore.(1cd)

3rd Tier(slightly less.. liked their first 2 cds over the newer)
A Perfect Circle, System of a down.

4th Tier(and slightly less than 3rd, respect some of the music but they aren't my favorite band...maybe formerly a favorite, but since changed.)
311, Iron Maiden, and some songs of old metallica.

I like pretty much any music that is skillful/fun to play-'musician's music', or anything with any kind of beauty to it really. Anything from Meshuggah to Anael.

Movies:

I like a lot of movies...I've only seen a few I didnt like. I always tend to find the beauty in a movie....and discover something, a lesson in most. A few that are standing out at the moment-
Star Wars(all of em), Lord of The Rings, King Arthur, Troy, The Matrix, Braveheart, Shawshank redemption, The Last Samurai, Indiana Jones, Augustus, Nero, Kingdom of Heaven,Million Dollar Baby,Band of Brothers(especially where Lt. Spears runs through the entire german infested town right past all of them),
Count of Monte Cristo-if you havent seen it your missing something amazing-a great tale of betrayal, imprisonment, revenge, and love. The way mercedes notices Edmond(as the count) playing with his hair and realizes it's him. Ah, the romance. I love it. Do I express that? hell no. Would I like to? sure, ya.
Another thing about the movie, his life turns worse than hell but then works out better than he could have imagined in the end. For you all with trouble out there, remember that.
...

Television:

Comedy Central, Lost, Invasion, maybe a couple other things. I tend to not let my life get too caught up with TV. Daily Show with Jon Stewart is pretty good. ...

Books:

Nourishing Traditions, The Soul Purpose, Sex Matters, Dr. Mercola's Total Health Program, The Magic of Psychotronic Power, The Mushroom Cultivator, The Savage Garden, The E&P Attraction, Bulletproof Abs, The Russian Kettlebell Challenge, Power To The People

Heroes:

All truly great teachers to spend a few moments in this world, anyone who has helped make the world a better place and/or acheived some awesome dreams.
