First off, Rest In Peace to Sean Taylor. From the same area, to the same high school (Killian), to the same college (Miami), I hate to see one of ours go. My first memory of him is as a sophomore in my senior year at Killian. At the time, I did not know who he was, but everyone kept talking about how good this kid was. And a mutual friend introduced him to my newspaper that I had at the time. He became a fan of my publication and situation, and I in turn became a fan of his. I'm always proud of all my boys from Dade, especially South Dade when we make something of ourselves, and it always hits home hard when we lose one of our own, especially when you develop a relationship with them. On so many levels you will always be remembered by me and all the boys from Da K, Richmond Heights, Kendall, and The U! God Bless Your Family...you will forever be missed!
Okay, let's make this very clear here. Before I even get into any information about myself, if it wasn't already clear by my pictures, let me reiterate this: I AM NOT PLIES!!! I work WITH him, but I am NOT him! Not quite sure how a light-skinned chico from Miami gets confused with being Plies, but there seems to have been some "not-so-observant" types that have had some serious "blonde moments". I’m 27 years old, Miami born and bred. My family is from Brazil (among many, Many, MANY other places...we're like the U.N. over here). I’m 6’1, 180 lbs. with some killer hazel eyes (and they belong strictly to my baby!). I AM IN A RELATIONSHIP and I love my baby with all my heart, so ladies please respect that. I am the A&R/Product Manager for Big Gates/Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic Records recording artist PLIES...best believe he is THE next great one! His debut album, The Real Testament, blazed up the Billboard charts coming in at Number 2!!! I am currently the VP of A&R/Marketing at Big Gates Records. Also, I am the Vice-President and Co-Owner of World Music Group International.
