B4TC0MPUT3R @ Ottobar June 5th

BATCOMPUTER is a band from Annapolis, MD made up of members of Sawhorse, Lilu Dallas, A Perfect Kiss, Private Eleanor, and maybe some others that were too horrible to bother mentioning. They have a pretty DIY attitude toward things, but who knows, they might sell out like crazy if offered a sweet record deal from Capitol or sponsorship from Monster Energy Drinks. The band enjoys drowning everything they perform in so many effects that you can't really understand what is going on. As long as the emotion and the haunting melody is still somewhat audible, their goals are being accomplished. The lyrics are not mirrors of who we are but they are stories full of exaggerations and poetic curve-balls in order to portray our selfish and/or shameful emotional state we sometimes find ourselves in. They recorded a song for a Mineral tribute album to be released sometime this summer/fall by Crank! Records. Batcomputer loves and appreciates all who support them.

05.08.08 - New song VERDANA uploaded. Go listen! Features vocals by Megan Lloyd & Kyle Durfey (of Pianos Become The Teeth). Mastering of the album is in progress. Soon thereafter, CDs will be available for purchase! We're counting on 9 tracks to be on it. It's going to be called "Spring Is A Chorus Of Vomit; Everyone Rejoice!"
