Being a cool young lady, Kayt Lynn Jones can walk in the room packaged as a teenage blond beauty with a heart as big as Texas and unique velvet voice the size of California. Born in Laguna Hills, CA, Kayt was surrounded by the sound of country music as far back as she can remember, mainly because of her fathers passion for the traditional style. Daddys little girl started tuning those vocal cords at the age of three and that was just the beginning of developing her own homegrown musical flavor. By the age of 8 she had already gathered fans and a favorite memory by singing on stage with Shania Twain in concert. Kayt Lynn was influenced by an impressive array of entertainers such as Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee and Leann Rimesbut her mother is her real female hero. To show her love and support, Kayt enjoys lending her vocal talent to various cancer awareness events in dedication and admiration of the strength her mother has shown through her own battle with cancer. Radio carried her melodic wave to an enthusiastic audience when she won the K-FROG Country Karaoke competition at the age of twelve. Kayt has also gathered some notable awards through the Southern Orange County School of Arts via the SOSCA Music Program. The vocal group won a trip to Hawaii to compete in the Heritage Festival where the aced a 1st and a 2nd place in chorus. In addition they had the honor of singing on the USS Missouri. Though Kayt is known as a solo vocalist, this slice of background displays that she can be an exciting team player in pageant form. Jones was born under the golden sun of California but loves the warmth of Tennessee and soul of Texas. She enjoys traveling the country and putting a smile on the faces of fans everywhere. She doesnt know a stranger and has a keen ability to network well wherever she travels. She enjoys basketball, dancing, surfing and snowboarding with friends in her spare time. Kayt Lynn was recently brought to the music attention of Nashville by the founders of Legend Records, Don Sessions and Boomer Castleman.
