Hiding From It

And no. We aren't a couple.

About Me

An Introduction Good morn, good noon, good eve, whatever the case may be.

"Hiding From IT" are a duo from London, who have taken it upon themselves to use different elements from different genres of music, in order to create something original and...different.

The bands main instruments are acoustic guitar and violin. A lack of a drum kit compliments the band on their minimalistic style, as well as saving them a shed load of money on rehearsal studios, as well as time on shifting the drum kits around London.

The overall sound that the band have is a very folky one, but with lyrics of teen angst, nostalgia issues and bad relationships, they have also been branded as "emo".

Musical and lyrical influences range from The Beatles to Klaxons, John Williams to Enter Shikari, and Primus to Alexisonfire. The principles of Indian music have had a huge effect on the structure of the songs, along with good old-fashioned Irish and Celtic music.

The band is currently working on an EP, set for release around Christmas time. Any messages, bookings or people just wishing to get in contact, drop the band a comment/message or send them an e-mail at [email protected].

Joe and Lauren wish you an absolutely fantastic rest of the day.
