Buy Building And Wrecking now!
A native of the East Coast, Eric has developed his Arizona sound since moving to Phoenix in 2002. With influences of Springsteen folk and Southwest grit, Eric has written and recorded his first full-length album, Building And Wrecking, available in March 2007. Songs like "Heartland", "Arizona Falls", and "Face To Face" tell stories of people finding their place in the world, for better or worse. Building And Wrecking was recorded at Eric's home studio, with guest musicians performing guitar and violin solos.
Though Building And Wrecking is Eric's first full-length album, his repertoire is both deep and covers a wide range of topics. The September 11 retrospective "The View From 14th Street" is among his more serious work, while "Reunion" is an upbeat, yet introspective look at relationships. He does have a lighter side to his writing, however: Eric may be best known for his 2003 song "I'm Not Dead", a humorous response to the death of the actor with the same name.
Eric's live performances are engaging and intimate, juxtaposed with dry wit and carefully selected cover songs. Building And Wrecking may just be the beginning; however - look for Eric to continue writing and recording, and to release Justice in 2008.
