Sonic Palais (pronounced; Sonik Palé) became what they are in the late summer of 2007. Important is that the band is a "mishmash" of two other bands whence one of them still exists.
The history behind is short and simple though, and yes it has to do with alcohol.
Four rude boys met up in a crappy rehearsal and started to tickle on strings and thrash some drums.
Suddenly, one of the boys spat out:
- For god’s sake guys, this shit sounds good!
…that’s how the Sonic Palais got through.
