I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi, I'm Hannah, and my life is amazing. I married my soulmate/best friend/love of my life on August 25th, 2007. We have an adorable little son, Isaiah, who has more energy than I know what to do with. That boy keeps me busy and makes me insane, and I love him more than life itself.
I'm a pretty normal crazy person. I'm scared of the dark. I eat my vegetables. I pray every day. I have violent mood swings. Knowing that dinosaurs once existed freaks me out. I get bummed out for no reason, but I have a million reasons to be happy. Life is a fantastic adventure - I just wish it was longer. My to-do list is longer than life. Here are just a couple of things I'm working on right now:
Learning to sew (and possibly making a career out of it)
Improving my poor photography skills
Learning to snowboard (correctly)
Getting some exercise!!
Cook more interesting foods (think Mexican, Italian, and Greek)
Mastering the art of driving a stick shift
Learning to relax! Yoga sounds awesome.
Learning more languages. I want to be able to talk with anyone and everyone.
SALSA DANCING.
Being polite and looking for people's good qualities. I have a tendency to notice (and point out) the imperfections in everyone. It's terrible, I know.
Going to church on a regular basis. period. This will happen soon, and I'll have my boys by my side.
Sleeping. I need more sleep.
Letting it go. I need to stop trying to control everything in my life and learn to let God take the wheel.
I need some sanity and balance in my life. We're getting there -- and although change isn't easy and some days are rough, I'm thoroughly enjoying the journey. Life is SO good.
-- Things are gonna change, I can feel it --
I love: God, my family, kittens, music (jazz, classic rock, hair metal, blues, funk, reggae, country, and 90's alternative), smart people, flowers, punctuation, Emilio, traveling, being fancy, writing, pepsi, tights, beeman, wearing no sleeves, ruckus-making, bunnies, lace, subtle intentional confusion, sunshine, good cold beer in a bottle (not a can), intelligent conversation, shoes, pepper, Isaiah's nose, rude mockery, home-made clothing, unnecessary abbreviation, dresses, hot cheetos, shopping, art, good health, fabric, picante sauce, bright colors, artichoke hearts, rain, umbrellas, and being surrounded by people who live life with a passion.
I have a substantial disliking for: canned peas, hip hop, dog slobber, old folks' talk (i.e. "clear as a bell"), cold wrinkled laundry, itchy skin, lip liner, people who hate everything, hangovers, long explanations for very simple things, garden spiders, people who criticize everyone else's lives but do nothing important with their own, van halen, talk radio, pumpkin pie, the words "moist" and "dairy", excessive use of prepositions, super low rise pants, closed-minded people, anything disney, opossums, wind, mouth burns, the smell of a warm refrigerator, and heather grey
