Pushing the envelope into tiny little pieces...

About Me

Music is my life. I'm an aspiring musician/producer working with whoever I can to gain musical experience and expand musical horizons. As of now, I've exclusively produced/remixed tracks for Diamond Lane and Caley Martin under the alias "Pushing Reality", and continuing to work on more independent remixes with material from Telefon Tel Aviv, Tweaker, Zero 7, and Nine Inch Nails, as well as solo material by myself.I have also self-produced a collection of tracks for Diamond Lane. A long time in the making, the "Beers, Women, and Remixes EP" contains 4 reinterpretations of original material from their debut album, "Cut To The Chase". The EP is free, so if you are interested in hearing the material or Diamond Lane, send me a message or head to their MySpace page (myspace.com/diamondlane).Caley Martin is someone I've worked closely with for quite some time. A local San Jose DJ (and not one of those "DJs"), Caley's page can be found here : (myspace.com/caleymartin).If you're an artist or band looking for a producer/remixer, drop me a line and perhaps we could collaborate.

Wait, it's already almost September?

One day I woke up and I was gone...Wasn't it just July like two weeks ago? I honestly don't know where the time went this summer...and I am thoroughly disappointed in how it was spent. Sure, I got on ...

"I'm writing on a little piece of paper..."

Time is limited...working in order to work in order to work in order to work. There is no space to create anything worthy of my own personal approval. New remix uploaded...the first new production in ...

Every Day Is Exactly The Same

I haven't been in the best of moods, both creatively and socially. The lack of updates here and on the main artist page reflect the nonexistence of anything remotely interesting. There are things righ...

Fitter Happier...More Productive

It's been quite some time since I actually spoke of what was going on in the world of Pushing Reality. Over our winter break, I achieved what I set out to do. I completed the long awaited Grotto Fork ...

Time and Time Again

Why is it that the University deems these 5 days a "break" when I still have two projects due the immediate Monday after this "break"? The time I wished to dedicate to producing projects and beginni...

Falling In and Out of Line

It's strange to suddenly be distanced from the thing you love. Over the past several weeks, the projects being worked on have dissipated into mere thoughts and no progress. The quarter's workload has...
