RiNo, pronounced "Rhino," opened it's doors in October of 2005 and is already drawing an A-list crowd including Jeremy Piven, Michael Jordan, Chris Duhon, David Schwimmer, DJ AM, and numerous members of the cast of "Prison Break." There is no doubt that this hot-spot has quickly become THE late night destination in Chicago. - Club Line Magazine, May '06

RiNo (343 W. Erie), short for River North and pronounced like the animal, is poised to be one of the hottest lounges in town. Open from Tuesdays to Sunday (till 4am), the lounge will go through many different stages during the night. For the afterwork crowd, there are flat screen tvs showing sports. A little later in the evening, the velvet ropes go up, the red carpet comes out, TVs turn off, DJs go on, and the lights go down. Everyone will want to flock to this spot for the fantastic music and great ambience.
A lot has been invested in the decor and luxury details. African Kudu horn chandeliers balance hollowed out carved ostrich eggs, while white onyx tiles reflect light from the floor onto the cork lined face of the bar. The bar top itself is the midsection of a 200 year old tree. With other skins, hides, and even grass cloth on the walls, this lounge invokes the feel of an elegant 20's African safari, while offering sophistication and cocktailing with new millennium amenities and music.
