Lead singer for Silenced Within.
I have been singing since the age of 6. My mom was a singer and it just came naturally by listening to her.
I started jamming with friends at age 15 in garage bands. We made some thrash noise - literally. I have enjoyed numerous bands, Dead Kennedys, the Church, Black Flag, the Cramps, sOOooOO much good music out there. Sometimes I just want to hear lyrics that crack me up.
Having been nomadic most of my life:: lived in New York, New Jersey, California, Houston, traveled throughout Europe, backpacked through Costa Rica. You never have to twist my arm to travel.
It astounds me as one's life begin's to look as chapters in a book or where one's feet have been. I love writing poetry. Most of my songwriting is a conglomeration of poems I have written, or just by experiencing life.
I am always happy to collaborate with friends and write some really cool music. Silenced Within has been my favorite project as it is songwriting with my better half. Somehow, we were meant to write beautiful music together.
