Thanks for dropping by my music page here on myspace! Well... I'll just get right down to it. Instead of making a bio that you have to write in third person about yourself, and say how your this, and that. Better for me to just tell you, who I am, why music, and what is my lifes ambition. So... *Who Am I?* ;o)---Born December 24th in beautiful Pomona California ... lol. I came from Costa Rican, Dutch & Indonesian roots. I was an only child growing up in a single parent home. Which made for a good imaginative environment; while I was growing up. It's where all my lyrical thoughts and feelings stem from. My mom has always been my biggest supporter *love her*.
"Why I Do Music"... I've been singing for 15 years and loved how singing made me feel. However, I guess you can say that singing into an empty toilet paper roll wasn't the coolest thing to do as a kid. So I had to invest my creative time; into creating a make-shift microphone that encompassed a ball of foil, rubber band, and electrical tape. Only to convince myself that I was really singing into a real mic. *lol* I gotta say it worked! Singing into my little ghetto mic never made Chaka Khan sound so much better!*What is my lifes ambition!* To conquer the world! Nah, just in the positive. If I can give back through song and reach somebody with my message of positivity, self-love, happiness, and truth. Well I gotta say my mission is complete. I would love to travel the world to perform for all good causes that will contribute to helping those in need.So I thank you for taking the time to read up on me, "Sabrina Vargas". I hope that all of you out there who are creators of music, continue to inivate and inspire those in need of a life changing musical message. Keep in mind there are many who need us artists to help speak up for those who just can't get the words out right. And it is our job to convey those feelings as well as theirs. Your fan base, friends, loved ones, those who don't have the voice to express their thoughts; have you to do this for them. So don't take your musical craft for granted. It is truly a gift.
