The short version:
Likes: Friends, travel, not being indoors, people actually caring about what I say, the color green, stuffed rabbits...don't ask, pow wows, painting, reading, gardening, landscaping, archery, swimming, different music and movies, cuddling, quality time, stories and such concerning vampires, ghosts and werewolves
Dislikes: Noseyness, my 16 plus years of school, bossyness, pig-headed people, people not waiting their turn, people that talk on phones whilst driving, stupid drivers in general, snobbishness, uneducated people making decisions, how the people think they know what's best for other people, alarm clocks, too much peanut butter on a pbj sandwich, wearing shoes, pretense
*As a side note, my 'title' translates locally as "What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over." NOT how some translators would have it.
The long version:
Life, I have noticed, seems to take one in highly unexpected places to do highly unexpected things. Every decision made and action that is taken seems to be a thread that begins to weave a tale of who you are. All the people that you meet in your life, even those met in passing, become a part of your life 'tapestry' and affect you in ways you probably never imagined they would. I suppose I used to think that by being brash and tough all the time would get me to where I wanted to be. After a while and a great bit of 'smartening up,' as my father would say, I learned that if I try to be content with life and all its little twists, it makes for a happier existance. Taking pleasure in small things. Perhaps a particular smell or sight, colors or sounds. When you take the time to slow down and notice them they are quite gratifying. By being able to enjoy small things now, I am happier. I smile more and laugh about more things. Life doesn't seem so heavy and oppressive. Of course there are still problems in my life as there are with everyone but at least at the end of each day I feel that I've learned something or been pleased by something. I see beautiful things each day, be it something as silly as the way a breeze lifts my hair or someone smiling on the phone. Most of the time I noticed, people just don't allow themselves to be happy because they're so caught up in what they want to have as opposed to what they do have. They go on attempting to fill these wants in their lives and if and when they can no longer do that they become miserable. It, in my opinion, is a horrible self indulgence. I guess what I want to say is that I'm a happy person. I try to be friendly with most people because I know how it feels when a stranger gives you a smile when you're having a shitty day.
Other than that I suppose that people either find me funny or very blunt and crude. Either way I don't really care. I don't go out of my way to make people like me but I don't try to piss them off either. I like physical labor because I can't stand being indoors or having office jobs. That and working with guys is so much easier than working with girls. Guys don't bitch as much and they don't make everything a huge issue... My newfound favorite hobby is fishing and I still love to draw. I have two very close friends that I been through alot with and one amazing boyfriend who enjoys aggravating me as much as I aggravate him. We bicker like an old married couple. ;) Right now I'm planning on being a truck driver and going around the country for a long while. Should make life a little more nomadic for me. O.o
A very good friend of mine posted this and I think that it has great meaning in it.
"And that is what the Creator gave to us, the choice: a great gift, the mentality that we have. And among us there are even people with other gifts—a gift of art, or a gift of speech, or a gift of a smile that can make everyone laugh. Whatever it is, each of us was born with a mission. We were born with a mission, and we must know what it is and develop it and do it. And that's a choice—that is your choice."

Try to do the seemingly impossible and live life loving it.

My Interests

What makes you happy, what makes me happy. I suppose other such things include art. I used to draw quite a bit and now I'm finally getting back into it. I love gothic clothing. Goth chicks are hot. :) I love renaissance faires and pirates (I always wanted to be one!). If I had all the money in the world I'd probably dress in renaissance style all the time. GERMAN!! I'm probably obsessed with the German language thanks to Frau Brockhagen. I love german music from pop to industrial and the bonus is it makes learning faster. Pow wow's though definately take the cake for the coolest thing I've ever been a part of. Thanks to my best friend I've been introduced to amazing parts of Native American culture and I'm forever thankful for it. In Bollywood films I find an amazing break from America. Again thanks goes to my best friend for that.

I'd like to meet:

Generally I enjoy meeting anyone. Each individual carries with them something different than any other and has the potential to teach something new at the very least. However, this does not mean that I will tolerate bigots, narcissists, egotists or zealots. People who think that they're better than others really piss me off as do those that get mad over every stupid little thing. I know who is really worth my time and who isn't. DrAmA iS nOt ThE aNsWeR!!

I also prefer to receive a message as to why you would wish to be my friend.

Unless I know you of course. This is mainly just to prevent bands and spammers from requesting my friendship. That and once in a while it's nice to know why you've attracted someone's attention.

I am not a face collector. If you have over two hundred friends and I don't personally know you, I'm going to be a little hesitant in adding you. I like to keep in touch is all.

As far as particulars...Michael Collins, the Irish one. Thanks for that one goes out to Martin Crofts from Dublin! I'd like to meet Bjork as well.

"You are a very passionate person, however,
this passion often remains hidden below the
surface. You have a great deal of compassion
for others and are always willing to help those
in need. You have a great generosity, sometimes
so great that you neglect yourself while giving
to others. You also have a stubborn side,
though, which serves to protect you from being
