CHICANO born and raised in south los angeles, im into the old skool kuztomz, caruchas, ranflas,bombs, choppers, harley davidsons, love building rides,i grew up in gang infested south los angeles, so yes at about 12 yrs of age i joined on of southern cal most feared gangs, with no father fig around i got into a shit load of trouble. pops made his money so moms,5 sis and my self had a roof over our heads always, but that was it, just a place we could call home,.moms had to raise us however she could..pops would come home after 3/4 days of parting drunk as fuck..beat on moms and sisters,..after he would knock out we would empty out his pockets for what ever he had left from his parting so we could have a decent meal so you could say we grew up poor,,i was about 8/9 yrs could not afford a used bike, so i would go around the hood picking up junk parts untill i had enough parts to build my own bike..yes it was the birth of MY LOWRIDER BIKE,AND MAYBE THE FIRST LOWRIDER BIKE IN SOUTH LA..this was way back late 70'S. kids in the hood started paying me to build them bikes..i was about 14 when i bought my first car with what i made from building bikes..my love for bikes grew to cars..and now with the help of my learning crew, kids i pull out of the streets to give them what nobody gave me, A CHANCE TO LEARN, 30 yrs later here i am taking junk and turning it into ARTE.
