my cat, travel, reading, farmers' markets, long afternoons and camping.
the good humans.
i have become quite the minimalist. i have only been listening to radiohead and the beatles as of late. (with a little wilco, bob dylan & sigur ros thrown in for good measure ... though i should invest in that new hanson cd.)
i do enjoy the film medium if it's backed with quick intellect or is emotionally manipulative (ah yes, an ever important key in film making). though i find life to be more greatly rewarding than film (and i only mention this because of a best friend who is a cinema studies major). for instance, an embrace in life far surpasses any on screen, henceforth the film must be extraordinarily good for me to watch it.
not so much. (except for maybe a bbc lion documentary from the '70s, i've got weak knees for those ... or salute your shorts [which, to my knowledge, are not even played anymore])
great expectations! (i finished it and it's lovely!) d. jensen, f. dostoevsky, r. laing, k. vonnegut, e. galeano, t. morrison, d. stannard, j. zerzan, m. foucault, e. said, p. coelho. i really could go on but wont.
edward said amazes me intellectually. and george harrison ... well now, that's all that need be said.
