About Me

This is me. My little part of modern life
After spending a long time worrying about where my life was going I landed this awesome job as a residential care worker, working with children with Autism and learning difficulties. I don't feel grounded, I'm not even close to settled but for now it's fulfilling and the money is good.
That aside I try and have a life outside the antisocial hours I work. I love to read [ok, not so sociable..], go to gigs [there we go!], hitting the pub with some decent company and taking trips as often as I can, be it to a city 2 hours away or to America for 2 weeks. I haven't been anywhere longer than that but who knows?
I love getting tattooed, I have 3 piercings and dying my hair some random colours. I do like the 'alternative' lifestyle, whatever that means nowadays. Whatever it is, I love it and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.
I'm not really a girly girl. I drink bourbon, eat too much and love gory films. But I do have a weakness for shoes :]
