I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm sarcastic, funny, intelligent (at least I think so, other opinions may differ), I love to laugh, and do it rather often, and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I love learning about anything or anyone new. I'm completely open(sometimes too much i'm sure) and can hold my own in a conversation. Let's see, sometimes I walk to the store in my fuzzy slippers, and sometimes I stay in my pjs all day just for the hell of it. I love getting out and having fun, meeting new people, I'll talk to just about anyone about pretty much anything. That's it I guess, I'm pretty bad at these "describe yourself" things. My Interests

Movies, books, wandering the city, museums, parks, video games (yes, I'm a geek), music, drawing (or attempting to anyway), and school work, lots and lots of school work.

I'd like to meet:

People who like sitting up all night talking about a million different things as much as they like sitting up all night watching bad movies and only talking to make jokes about them. People who have their own thoughts and ideas, even if they aren't always the same as mine (if you can discuss your ideas intelligently, all the better, nothing like a good debate). People I can learn from, and who want to learn from me. That's about it really, I just want to meet people who aren't afraid to be who they are =)

Music:

Hmm, I'm rather eclectic in this arena...White stripes, Sugarcult, Disturbed, Live, Dylan, Wallflowers, 3 Doors Down, Tom Waits, Ok Go, OutKast, rinocerose, Better than Ezra, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Gravity Kills, Green Day, KMFDM, Living Things, ok, enough, you get the idea.

Movies:

Chicago, 25th hour, Equilibrium, Velvet Goldmine, Xmen 1 and 2 (it's all about Wolverine) The Neverending Story (still love Falkor), 28 days later, Shaun of the Dead, Dark Crystal, pretty much any kung-fu type movie or zombie movie, and lots and lots of bad B horror movies

Television:

Any of the CSI shows (cept Miami), Bones, House, Hellsing, Samarui Champloo, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Simpsons, old Family Guy, Dexter, Weeds, Autopsy

Books:

The entire hitchhikers guide series by Douglas Adams, anything Terry Pratchett, The Great and Secret Show (and Everville of course), Stephen King's Gunslinger series, Lamb, the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood pal, The stupidest angel, Books of Blood, anything by Neil Gaiman, and lots and lots of crime/forensic novels

Heroes:

Hmm, I dunno, probably anyone that gets out and stands up for what they believe in, and actually DOES something about it, even if I don't agree with them, it takes balls to stand by what you believe no matter what anyone else says or does...
