I love art, Japanese Culture, literature, Geek Culture, furniture...in fact there aren't many things that end in -ture that I don't enjoy. -Agriculture I guess-
I'm a huge comics reader, though I don't read American superhero stories hardly at all anymore I voraciously tear though Manga, Webcomics, and several American domestic titles that are somewhat out of the mainstream. I'm also drawing and writing a webcomic with my friend Ian, though my innate slackerdom is a huge roadblock to actually getting much of it done.
I love to cook and mix cocktails. I'm mostly self taught in both respects but I get no complaints. I like to learn to cook one thing and then try variations on its basic theme so that one recipe becomes six. With booze I enjoy Vodka, Rum, and Liqueur bases and simple mixers. Someday I'd like to learn to make espresso drinks as well.
I used to Role-play and play video games all the time, but since moving to Japan I have hardly looked at an RPG book and I mostly use my PSP for movies and music. I'm fairly certain though that the uber-geek still sleeps somewhere within me, but cool cafes, bars, and nightclubs in close proximity have forced him into a deep hibernation.
My ultimate ambition is to become a writer in the vein of Neil Gaiman; writing novels and short fiction, comics, screen and teleplays, and even videogame storylines.
I am also exceedingly curious about almost every creative exploit known to man; I'd like to try designing clothing, furniture, buildings and just general stuff. I also have picked up and put down several instruments in my time, most recently the sexy blue Bass Guitar sitting in a corner of my room.
I play Igo and Poker (Texas Hold'em)
Mostly people I knew long ago that I've lost track of, but hey, if something about me catches your eye why not say hello?

Eclectic, very eclectic. I can usually find something in any genre that I like to listen to. I dislike: songs that glorify ignorance or violence; overproduced crap like creed, Evanescence, and Nickelback; and modern country sucks floppy donkey cock.
On my PSP you're likely to find Techno and club music, oldies-but-goodies, Indy Rock, Japanese Rock and Rap, and even some western hip-hop too.

Anything by Kurosawa, Itami Juzo (especially Tampopo), Sean of the Dead, Fight Club and other varieties of Awesome.
I have a digital projector! I use it to watch movies when I am at home. It makes the movies big and pretty.
Recent releases that must be seen include: Tales from Earthsea (Gedo Senki) the latest Ghibli, and Superman Returns
I don't really watch television in the traditional sense. I bittorrent the programs I'm interested in and watch them at my leisure. Since I live in Osaka, I'm not cheating advertisers anyway. The American shows that I download are Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Daily Show, Project Runway (ok so it's a little gay, but it's interesting) and House MD. Firefly would be up there but it's been dead for some time now.
As for Anime that must be seen there is: Last Exile, Mushishi, Kamichu, BECK, and Paradise Kiss.
I also download the BBC from UK nova though that's more spotty than the others. I watch: QI, Dr. Who, anything by Derren Brown, Have I Got News For You, and the odd documentary.
First and Foremost, my Dad.
then come Superman, Martin Luther King, Masamichi Fujisawa, Ushiba Morihei, FDR, Noam Chompsky, Neil Gaiman and so many others.
