As C.E.O of one of Jamaica’s most diverse record labels Natural Bridge, Mark has come a long way. There’s a story to be told of the man but also one of the business enterprise Natural Bridge.Established in 1994 Natural Bridge provided talented young DJ’s with a professional set up to music production and recording since then - however the studio has evolved and expanded its operations. A cut above the rest Natural Bridge has both a local office here in Kingston Jamaica and another in Bronx New York. It core business stems from in house Production & Distribution services that facilitates the current handful of artists aligned to the Label. Most recognized for strong production in dancehall rhythms Mark Pinnock has on several occasions switched hats from C.E.O to a seasoned Producer / Engineer making waves musically. He has worked with some of the biggest names in dancehall and has an extensive track record stemming from Bounty Killa’s hit single “the Mystery is the Mystery†to the memorable “Rice and peas Rhythm†to the “Bun Bun Rhythm†then the unforgettable “Gully Slime†production. With his natural eye for talent Mark’s A&R ability to bring aboard new talent to Natural Bridge placed the establishment in pole position with the inception of Arael Jahzeal better known as that’s betta Mr. Peppa. Peppa brought the Label to new prominence with his single Talk back in 2005. 2006 brought the Gully Slime Rhythm and a feature from man from mars Tony Matterhorn dubbed Goddas which governed radio play lists and took the streets by storm. To date the Label is represented by artists like Frankie Sly, Mickey Spice, Mr. Lexx and Mr. Peppa, with WARD 21 unofficially.The plush studio features Pro tools DIGI 002 with a Mac G5, Avalon 737 sp Microphone preamp, Tannoy system 12 speakers with Tannoy sub woofers and a Neumann TLM 190 Microphone.
