NoMás

NoMas is a project started by Thomas Wolfe in summer of 2007. Recruiting the help of Noah Smolian and Adam Jones (aka AJ Stixxxx) the group was able to put a solid set together and play a handful of gigs. Thomas had been writing music for a few months and needed a setting with which he could present his art. Noah and Thomas had met the year before as music majors at CSUN and it was a very natural choice for the two to play together in a band. After an unsuccessful tryouts with multiple drummers Noah introduced Adam and the band clicked immediately. The group had planned on calling themselves 'Tomas' after what Noah nicknamed Thomas until someone suggested that the two names together would make a much more satisfactory name. By the end of the summer, they recorded the NoMas 7 Song EP at New Monkey Studios in just one grueling 12 hour session. NoMas is on temporary hiatus whilst Thomas is studying abroad in London where he's studying music at Kingston University until next summer.
