HAIR SALON. AND JUST REMEMBER ... I'M WORKING FOR YOU 'CAUSE YOU PAY ME TOO!*Talent void if client is unsightlyMy personality is not available for critique. My face is not a suggestion box. I have no license. My name is not Jack.-Howard The DuckThe Mythic Fran Janice Band formed with lazy passion in the early to mid 1980's to a sorrowful audience and angry newspaper editorials. Lasting longer than it should have, the bands demise became immediate upon the loss of all instruments in a fowl drug trade. A Comedy and Lounge act in the later 1980's on South Padre Island's Bay side, left that lingering taste of Fran in the mouths of Fisherman and local South Texans' and Mexicans' for the rest of their lives. As they could never quite recall the song 'Helter Skelter' by the Beatles the same way again. There is a light ... I Hate acronyms. Save my Love for Tequila and Red Wine. I do not mix them together in the same glass. Music is important to me. I love people who have terrible taste in music, I just can't be around them too often. And I enjoy being painfully honest in public. And I string some mad stones.

Books:

Fran JANICE and The Psychedelic Holiday! Jane Austen is my favorite writer. I read Non Fiction. The 13th Century interests me. There is a book about Katherine DeSynford The 3rd wife of John O'Gaunt, who was mother to the Beaufort Bastards and Chaucers sister in-law, that I have had to have read dozens of times. I guess I haven't kept up with the literature fashion, even though close friends of mine are writers. I used to keep current. But there is allot of good stuff out there, old and new. I Love 'The Master and Margarita' by Mikhal Bulgakov, a favorite. Gravity's Rainbow, Brother's Karmazov, Infinite Jest, Raymond Carver anything, A Confederacy of Dunces, A supposedly fun thing i'll never do again, Emperor of The Air, Dancing Nightly in The Taverns, The Stone Diaries, A Good Man in Africa, Kavillar and Clay, Pi, Some Ellen Gilchrist, My ex-s Poetry was always good - Joel Huerta, Lorca, Octavo Pas, Neurda, Cervantes, Llosa, Allende, The Sun Also Rises, Tennyson, James Tate (Distance From Loved Ones, is amazing), 100 years of Solitude. I really will read almost anything, I don't have taste.
