Since arriving in Poland in 2005, bassist Edi Sanchez decide to build his own project after been the sideman of many important artist in the Colombian scene, where he comes from. His gold in this project had been the mix of jazz-funk skills with the traditional Colombian music (one of the richest in the world) and the "trietnic" Latinamerican culture. After trying in the polish area to play with several jazz musicians is finally in this three great players who he feels comfortable to play with: Alexandra Zhernova (Ukraine), Vitali Ivanov (Ukraine) and Bartek Staromjeski (Poland).
two years playing in the best clubs in Krakow and in couple jazz festivals get ready the band to record its first album. A sketches of Colombia sure will be obvious in this first recording that seems to be appearing in the next year (2008). At the moment good to enjoy one of his compositions "San Andres".
