What people dance to while you're at work

About Me

I edited my profile with the feeling that a lot less people would die in Afghanistan if we just got the fuck out

Newly founded by Eric Labelle, Dubearth (Dubearth.com) is a non-profit record label that has taken on the mission of signing and releasing pure musical misfits. Explorers and dreamers that day in day out prove that do ré mi is a castrating and passé way of describing sound.
More interested in artist development than profits or sales, the label will push for interesting collaborations and encourage it's roster to delve into uncharted territory (whether subjectively by trying something new on a personal scale or objectively by attempting to develop new musical forms).
The label's site (www.dubearth.com) will feature weekly podcasts starting in October by Lorenzfactor (Lisbon, Portugal), Speedy Repeater (Geldermalsen, Netherlands), Connectionst (Manchester, UK), Phalovich (Lisbon, Portugal) and Dubian and his Baile Funk alter ego Saudades Som Sistema (Quebec, Canada). We'll also release podcasts featuring the best in eclectic and boundary breaking music from all over in one off format thanks to the loving support of our friends.
If you think you have interesting material to be considered for a podcast, songs you like to hear in one of the weekly shows or a demo or finished album you'd like to be considered for release then please mail 1 CD + Bio to:
