ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. WHAT ISN'T INTERESTING?
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves:Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsiously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.QUOTED BY NELSON MANDELA AT HIS INAUGURATION
I would like to meet fun, interesting, intellectual people who like to talk about all kinds of things and who have aspirations. I would like to meet new friends; individuals that are kind hearted, unique, opinionated AND AREN'T AFRAID OF ASKING ME ANYTHING. The other does not exist: this is rational faith, the incurable belief of human reason. Identity=reality, as if, in the end, everthing must necessarily and absolutely be one and the same. But the other refuses to disappear; it subsists, it persists; it is the hard bone on which reason breaks its teeth. Abel Martin, with a poetic faith as human as rational faith, believed in the other, in "the essential Heterogeneity of being," in what might be called the incurable otherness from which oneness must always suffer. -Antonio Machado
