Influences: Kristy grew up listening to alot of different music. Her mom was a pianist, singer and music teacher, so Kristy was exposed to so many different artists and music genre's. Kristy says she can remember singing around the house to her Mom and Dad's CD's and was heavily influenced by R & B, from Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder and songwriter types like, Joni Mitchell. Her Mom Also had Michael Jackson's record, "Off The Wall" and Kristy wore it out, she says all of the harmony vocals and amazing music tracks are what fueled her to play it over and over again, that record was one of the best records ever produced, she says. When Kristy first heard Whitney Houston's, "The Greatest Love Of All" on the radio, even as a young girl it made her cry and that was when she knew SHE HAD TO BE AN ARTIST and to write her own material and share her passion for great music.
