Easy Street Rescue

About Me

My name is Dan Wiggins. My Aunt, Nina Bellinger, started this Non-Profit Organization to help horses in need. We are trying to spread the word of this remarkable organization in an attempt to create awareness of abused and neglected animals. Easy Street Horse and Barnyard Rescue offers rescue, rehabilitation and loving care of horses and all farm animals. Some horses retire on Easy Street Farm and some are made available for adoption to homes where it is apparent and observable that love and quality care will be given.FOR CURRENT ADOPTION STATUS AND DONATIONS, PLEASE PLEASE VISIT MY AUNT'S WEBSITE AT: www.easystreetrescue.org Horses MySpace Layouts - Horses MySpace Layouts Girly MySpace Layouts

Here is a prime example of what Easy Street Rescue is here for. Frostlin was rescued from a farm in Saratogo and brought to us...You can see the difference from DAY 1:AND NOW...This is Frostlin today - a seven year old thoroughbred (never raced), sweet mare, rescued from a farm in Saratoga by a horse lover and brought to Easy Street for rehab. She was started under western saddle last summer, not known if she rides english. Approx 15.1 hands. She stands for Farrier /Vet and is easy to handle. She is now ready for her new home and new life. Frostlin is ready for adoption.EASY STREET RESCUE MISSION STATEMENT: To provide for the rescue and care of abused and/or unwanted horses and other farm animals, which if not rescued would lead to the physical and/or mental detriment of the animal. To provide for the rescue and care for horses being auctioned for slaughter. To provide for the rescue and care of PMU (pregnant mare urine) or NMF (nurse mare foals) foals and horses due to PMU/NMF activities. To provide for the rescue, rehabilitation and care of thoroughbred, standardbred, draft, and other working horses who are being disposed of due to age and/or inability to meet racing/working standards of the breed. All horses and animals rescued will receive loving kindness in their rehabilitation and care, and will be either allowed to permanently retire at Easy Street Horse & Barnyard Rescue, Inc., facilities or will be available for adoption to homes where love and quality care will be given. Where possible Easy Street Horse & Barnyard Rescue, Inc., will provide non-political, basic education to the unknowing about the realities of horses sent to slaughter, PMU foals, and NM foals.
