A message from Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino, Founder:Best Ever You was founded out of the notion that women are real women. As a card carrying member of the "I hate my thighs club", I feel strongly that women in advertisements frequently lack the look of "real" and so many of us find great frustration with the woman who is 5'11" and emaciated, her outfit is $1,200 minus shoes or the woman is airbrushed so much that her teeth are gleeming white and she has a flawless complexion.
It isn't all about looks either! How do you feel? Women are dying more than ever now from stress related diseases and 8 out of 10 women will also experience post partem depression these days.
Most of us have real wrinkles, real feelings, a real budget and problems. A Real life! Best Ever You wants each person to look and feel their best no matter your age, marital status, budget, crisis, job, family and so forth.
Email after email from women around the country over the past 2 years has inspired this website and company. With each of my four pregnancies I gained over 80 pounds. The last pregnancy, when I left the hospital, I had gained 120 pounds.
As a mother of four boys under age 12, a Vice President at Dow Investment Group, an entrepreneur at heart, a weight loss success story, and a MedicAlert member since 1998, I am compelled to help others and organize a place where woman can go for inspiration.
