About Me

I am a sweet, friendly, happy, very tall young woman living in New York City and working at a job I love in the fashion industry. I will not bore you with a long-winded account of my teenage angst or the effort it took to become the woman I am today. Suffice it to say that I am gay, and so my path has been a little stormier than most. Nevertheless, I have been lucky enough to have a supportive family, caring friends, some of the "advantages" brought about by an upper middle class lifestyle and my love for my work. I am an illustrator in the fashion industry and so, for me, my work is sometimes like play...not always!...and I am lucky enough to be in a milieu where homosexual people seem to flourish. I am in a relationship with a beautiful woman whom I love desperately (see photos of her in my profile). Who can complain?I have pretty much stopped adding men to my friends list simply because I'm getting a little tired of being called a dyke or asked why I choose to be gay. If you have comments or questions like that, please direct them elsewhere. I love to make the rounds of the New York clubs, sometimes alone and sometimes with Regina. If you happen to catch up with me in the city, I'll be the tall one.

Free MusicI love the art scene in New York and spend an awful lot of time hanging out in Soho where most of the art is getting done these days. I'll take my sketchbook out on a nice day, sit in the park and drink a Starbuck's while sketching the passing parade. I also like dancing, fine dining, shopping and crawling through the Village.

I am really fond of old movies, especially the romantic ones like "Gone With the Wind" and "Now, Voyager." I also like movies that have a woman's story, such as "Frida" and "Aimee and Jaguar." Or how about the very exciting scene in "Bitter Moon," with my favorite actress, Kristin Scott Thomas:

Television:

I don't watch very much television. Sometimes watch the news or "The L Word," but other than that there really isn't too much to see. Oh, maybe an occasional movie.

Books:

I like a wide variety of books, some old, some recent. Something with an excellent story and well-developed characters.
